The Rights Center for Freedom of Expression Support condemns the illegal and undemocratic methods practiced by influential parties against media professionals, And the latest of which is the threat of Hisham Ali Hussein, presenter of the "Game of Chairs" program, which is broadcast on Al-Sharqiya satellite channel, to physical liquidation after he spoke about corruption files in the program.

At a time when the Rights Center for Freedom of Expression Support rejects these practices issued by influential figures, it expresses its fear of the future of press freedom in light of the constant pressures supported by influential officials in the state.

The Rights Center for Freedom of Expression Support calls on the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhemy to immediately instruct the security authorities to provide full protection for the journalist Hisham Ali Hussein and to open a serious investigation into the matter in order to send the perpetrators to prison in accordance with the law.

The journalist, Hisham Ali, informed the Rights Center for Freedom of Expression support, upon contacting him, that he had received threats by phone with letters from various parties after showing the episode about corruption in the Retirement Authority and the Key Card Company and the court rulings issued in this matter.
